SHELLEY DRAPER
Shelley was born and bred in Derby, but has worked all over, now living slap-bang in the middle of the two counties of Derby and Notts, straddling the two and being proud of The East Mids. Having worked as an actor since 2002, she has seen the ups and downs of the industry and has a wealth of experience to use when supporting Ashrow actors through their careers.
Her highlights are nearly 10 years working within communities in theatre-in-education, being awarded Best actress at the British horror awards for her roles as Tina in short film ‘The End’ and appearing alongside Kit Harington in BBC action drama ‘Gunpowder’. As well as going where the acting work takes her, be it on stage or screen, Shelley also writes and performs her own work and has a one woman show entitled ‘Shelley Draper is Camilla, Cat and Jules’. She also enjoys a busy family life with a comedian husband, three sons, a cat and a cockapoo dog. Add to that the fun that is Ashrow and life is never dull! …
